Students working on art

Osseo Area Learning Center art students recently had the opportunity to learn about epoxy resin and how to make money with their artwork from a local artist. In the two-day lesson, students first watched the artist go through the steps of making a piece using epoxy resin and then got to try it out themselves.

OALC students compete at MAAP Stars competition

Late April, students from the Osseo Area Learning Center (OALC) competed at the Minnesota Association of Alternative Programs (MAAP) Stars competition – a statewide alternative school competition in life skills, teamwork and academics.

Wastebasket Revue: LVII tickets are now on sale

For 57 years, Osseo Area Schools current and former employees and community members have put on an annual variety show to raise money for scholarships to assist graduating students in their post-secondary plans. Some of the performers have been involved since the original show in 1967 and continue to come back year after year. This year, the performers invite the community to come and check out The Big Game at “Wastebasket Revue: LVII” at an upcoming show.
