Osseo Area Schools is proud to partner with several other local organizations to sponsor the seventh annual Community Forum on Race this fall.
Although community members are typically invited to an in-person event, this year's Community Forum on Race will be held virtually at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18. This event is free to attend.
The focus of the Community Forum on Race this year will be a virtual racial healing circle. Rooted in indigenous tradition, this facilitation style provides an opportunity for sharing lived truth and emphasizes active listening and being open to differing perspectives. The goal of the event is to promote understanding and empathy among participants through active participation and open, productive dialogue.
