Osseo Area Learning Center celebrates first trimester success

Osseo Area Learning Center celebrates first trimester success

Nearly 200 students currently attend Osseo Area Learning Center (OALC), the district’s alternative high school, and the school’s scholars had some big successes with credit recovery so far this year: they have earned a combined 528 credits in the first trimester of this school year.

"We are so proud of the credit earning progress of our OALC scholars, said OALC assistant principal Ryan Bisson, "they are doing an incredible job of showing up and getting their work done."

To celebrate, the school hosted an ice cream sundae party, along with bingo, basketball, and a craft station to make giant, 3-D snowflakes. The event also served as the finale for the school’s spirit week.
